Built for Serious Anglers

Our concrete ramp gives you a solid, clean launch in nearly any river condition. Wide enough to accommodate large bass boats and jon boats side-by-side. The approach is gentle, the surface is rough-textured for grip, and the dock gives you somewhere to hold the boat while your partner parks the trailer.

Ample gravel trailer parking — we can handle a dozen rigs on a busy tournament weekend. Fish cleaning station and water hose on site for a quick washdown before the drive home.

Ramp Rules & Etiquette

Following these guidelines keeps the ramp safe and efficient for everyone.

On the Water

•Life jackets required for all non-swimmers
•No-wake zone within 100 ft of the ramp
•TPWD regulations apply — valid fishing license required
•No jet skis or personal watercraft
•All boats must be registered and display a valid number

At the Ramp

•Pay your day pass fee before launching
•Load/unload quickly — don't block the lanes
•Park trailers in the designated gravel lot only
•Take all trash with you when you leave
•Respect other anglers and park staff

Directions to the Ramp

From Houston / The Woodlands

Take I-45 North through Huntsville. Continue north on US-75 N toward Madisonville. Turn left on TX-OSR (look for the Trinity River sign). Continue approx. 4 miles — Virginia Ln (dirt road) on your right. Drive .25 miles and take the first left.

From Dallas / Corsicana

Take I-45 South toward Huntsville. Take exit for US-75 North. Turn right on TX-OSR. Continue 4 miles, turn right on Virginia Ln (dirt road), drive .25 miles, take the first left.

Boat Launch FAQ

What is the water depth at the ramp?

Depth at the end of the ramp varies with the river level but typically runs 4–8 feet at normal stage. During high water the ramp may be temporarily closed for safety. Call us at (936) 348-6519 if you're unsure about current conditions.

Do you host fishing tournaments?

Yes! We regularly host bass and catfish tournaments. For group or tournament pricing, please call us directly at (936) 348-6519. We can accommodate weigh-ins, large trailer lots, and group cabin/RV bookings.

Where can I buy bait nearby?

We carry a limited supply of common baits on site (worms, stink bait). For live bait and full tackle, the nearest bait shops are in Madisonville (about 20 min east) or Huntsville (about 30 min south). Stock up before you arrive for the best selection.

Is the ramp accessible with a large trailer / gooseneck?

Yes. The approach road and parking lot can accommodate gooseneck trailers and large rigs. We have plenty of room to turn around. Give us a call if you have a particularly wide or long setup and we'll talk you through it.

Is the ramp open after heavy rain?

During flooding or high-water events we close the ramp for safety until the river recedes. We post updates on our Facebook page. When in doubt, call us before making the drive: (936) 348-6519.
